I find it odd that Warner Brothers felt the need to publicize it’s thoughts about “HarryPotterFilm” on Twitter. And who controls it? Who is in charge of updating it every 5 seconds? I’d hate to be that loser…Although talking one on one with Tom Felton would have its perks.

While reading the posts, I couldn’t help but think: It’s the last time that these actors will be playing these characters. Dan will no longer be Harry. Rupert won’t be Ron and Emma won’t be Hermione.

Then it hit me: Alan Rickman won’t be Snape anymore.  Only two more films as Snape and then that’s it. Nothing else.

It’s quite depressing when you think about it, we won’t know our actors as the Harry Potter cast anymore – only formally. But until then, I am not wasting time. I will obsess as much as I am physically capable.

So it looks like Tom Felton is paying a visit to his fans on the 10th of July. According to Mugglenet, Felton will be signing shirts along with a couple of Harry Potter fan site founders.

Guess where. Hot Topic. Guess which Hot Topic. One in FUCKING New Jersey. Who the HELL lives in NEW JERSEY?

Wouldn’t make sense to have it in NEW YORK or LOS ANGELES because MORE people care about those cities than NEW FUCKING JERSEY? I suppose not.

Older women, eh Potter? Interesting choice. Not wanting to “entertain” sounds a bit lazy if you ask me. And why would an actor like him be interested in getting serious so early? He has two more movies to finish for us so there is no need to get that serious, Daniel!

Notice all the brown hair. The Weasley twins have once again lost their Weasley…but with that said, why expect someone to walk around with obnoxious ginger hair when it’s not real? Although, I do prefer them with their orange locks, funnily enough. And Matthew Lewis, like always, looks a mess. Somehow, this doesn’t surprise me. I’d want to get away from the image of Neville Longbottom as much as humanly possible.

“Draco Malfoy, played by actor Tom Felton, has made the list of EW.com’s “31 Hateful TV/Movie Children.” The “Enfants Terrible” list is described as “a ghastly collection of maleficent on-screen minors” that includes such characters as Cartman, Cordelia from Buffy, and Biff from Back to the Future.

Well, yeah, this Slytherin scion has done everything in his power to put the whammy on Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and his mini-Scooby crew since page 1. Plus, he’s blond…and, in movies, blond kids are almost always bad news.

Instead of Draco,  perhaps Tom Riddle? As far as I’m concerned Tom WILL be a “child” in the upcoming film, and he WILL kick ass. I find it odd that they chose DRACO over fucking LORD VOLDEMORT. But what do I know?

Obviously not much.

It’s not that I hate everyone who isn’t me, I just feel the need to let you (as the reader) understand how I see things. And in case you half wits haven’t quite figured out the use of this blog just yet, I am planning on informing you on the latest things in the world of Harry Potter- with my twist.

So, welcome to Borgin and Burkes. Enjoy your stay and try not to touch anything moderately valuable with those dirty hands of yours, eh?

As J.K. Rowling so cleverly displays, things and people don’t come into your life just for the fun of it- they have a purpose. And it’s our job to wait for that purpose to arrive.

And since this is a Harry Potter related post, I thought I might share a story with you. My dad (or step dad…preferably dad) asked for my opinion on Tonks. I shuddered. And, naturally, he asked about my reaction. My answer was simple: “She’s. A. Hufflepuff.” And he nodded as if he understood…turns out he didn’t. Not too long ago the subject of Hufflepuffs came up a again and my dad asked, “Did you know they actually have a mascot?” And I replied, “Well, duh. They don’t deserve one but they are a house.” And my Dad said, “They’re a house? I thought it was just an insult from the way you talk about them.” Too true.

Anyway, point is Harry Potter allowed me to see the purpose in my life and that’s why I love it. Of course there are several more reasons why I do, but I think that might be a leading one. It gets tough though, trying to balance school, friends, my own writing, and Harry Potter. Yes, I make time for my indulgence of Harry everyday. It’s become a religion for me- one that I can stay faithful to and one that doesn’t require commitment. But it comforts me and provides escape and security.

As far as the characters in the books go, I don’t even know where to begin. Those characters are the best group of people- so well developed, so round, and they’ve all got their story. Every single one of them. Even the ones people pass over while reading the books, all have a background. And the wizarding families all connect. It’s beyond facstinating. And before I embarrass myself, I am going to stop here. It already sounds like my life is Harry Potter and that’s it…I don’t need to confirm it any longer.

So, all in all, Harry Potter = purpose = happiness = life.
